MTU Engine Diagnostic Kit USB-to-CAN is an electronic diagnostic tool kit dedicated to MTU diesel engines (widely used in ships, generator sets, heavy trucks and construction machinery). Its core function is to realize the communication between the computer and the engine control unit (ECU) through the USB to CAN interface, so as to complete the tasks of fault diagnosis, data monitoring and system programming.
1. Core functions
a Fault code reading and clearing By connecting to the ECU of the MTU engine (such as the MDEC/ADEC series), the stored fault codes (such as sensor abnormalities, fuel system problems, emission faults, etc.) can be directly read, and historical fault records can be cleared after repair12.
b Real-time data stream monitoring Dynamically display engine operating parameters, including speed, coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure, intake air temperature, etc., to help technicians determine whether the components are working properly15.
c Active testing and component control Perform active operations such as injector start-stop test, EGR valve control, DPF forced regeneration, etc., to verify the function of the actuator25.
